it all begins with a homepage that dives right into the about section. the about section is the place where the reader finds a brief summary of the background story of a subject or the purpose of a website. this section usually leaves out all messy, complicated parts and just shares the things that the writer wants the reader to know. well, that’s enough about the about section. 
Amanda Gagnon, an assemblage artist originally from Naples, Florida, has called Oʻahu home for over 12 years. She works in education at an International Baccalaureate (IB) school and actively volunteers with nonprofits that foster her creativity and allow her to give back to the community.
Two years ago, Amanda developed a unique process to create repurposed, one-of-a-kind pieces of art from lei. Her approach demonstrates an inventiveness to creativity and her work seamlessly blends an appreciation for Hawaiian culture with a commitment to a sustainable future.
